TRAINING

Training during club training times, is carried out by coaches on a voluntary basis. Occasionally the club will organise specialist training sessions. Otherwise private training sessions outside of these times are not carried out under the remit of the club.

While the club encourages involvement in other sports and activities, athletes, parents and coaches are reminded to take a holistic view of all activities while planning training sessions, with the aim of injury prevention. Please communicate with the coaches to best coordinate appropriate levels of training to avoid injury or stress on the athletes.

FURTHER REMINDER RE WEBTEXT

Once again a reminder that the webtext is mainly used to send out notifications/ reminders of events. If you have a question that requires a quick response, you should text or e-mail one of the coaches or use the Contact Us on the website. Replying to the webtext number leads to long delays, as we only have access to it from our laptops, so generally cannot answer when we are at work. It is fine to use it if message is not urgent.
