The Club Calendar is gone to print and will be on sale from Tues. 8^thDec. at a cost of just €10. This is a fantastic record of great memories from 2015, with many, many photos of all age groups from our Little Athletics Group launching the National Forest Feast programme, to County, Leinster, National & International competitions and much more! A huge amount of work has gone into producing this calendar and our sincere thanks go out to Fiona Dempsey who did a fantastic job designing the calendar and also to Helen Dempsey, Fiona Ryan & Christina Browne for all their work. Many thanks also to our sponsors Goldfish (Gordon O'Neill) Avalon Gardening Services (Paschal Casey) and ALPHACC( Jonathan Donnelly)

This calendar will be a great reminder of a great year for GAC and will make a great Christmas present, as will our lovely club pen. Both will be on sale from Dec. 8^thright up to Xmas and are being used as a fundraiser for the club! Front Cover is now on our website & FB page!

CONGRATULATIONS

Congratulations to all the GAC athletes who qualified for the National XC and who will now represent Club, County & Leinster teams next Sunday in Dungarvan. Best of Luck to: Joe Prendergast, Ella Shanley, Eimear Ryan, Enya Conroy U13, BenJones, Abbie Tyrrell, Sarah O'Connor, Sophie Nicholson, Megan O' Brien U15, Richael Browne, Susie McParland, Troy ScullyU17 and to the Novice men's team!

UPCOMINGCOMPETITIONS

1. There is an Inter-County (Kildare, Laois, Meath, Wicklow) Indoor Competition for U14/15/17 (U16's move up) athletes on Sat 12^th Dec at 2.30pm in Athlone. All age groups have 60mH, 60m, 200m, 800m, 1500m. U15/17 also have Walk, HJ, LJ, SP and U14's can compete in these with the U15's. If you are interested in being considered for any of these teams, please enter right away and list events in which you are interested. Entry form is now on the website and we need names asap, so that the teams can be selected and entered. This is a great opportunity to get some early competition indoors.

2. A very small turnout for Round 2 of the XC League in Rathdrum, but great running and great results once again from those who did compete on the night. Round 3 ( the final round) will be held in Bray on Fri 11^th Dec. at 6.30pm. Usually held on the Bray Emmet's Astro Pitches, but I'll confirm after tonight's meeting. Entry form is now on the website. Open to all athletes up age 14. Please enter once only, as some athletes are being entered over & over for every event.

3. The Co. Senior & Junior XC will be held in Avondale on Sun. 13^th Dec @ 11am. Jun Men 6K/Women 4K & Sen. Men 10K/Women 5K. For those not old enough to race, our Sunday run that day will be in Avondale!

4. Masters XC (age 35 & up) will take place in Ashford on Sun. 3^rd Jan @ 11am.

CLUB SHOP

The club shop will be open on Tues 8^rdDec. from 4.40-5pm & again from 6.30 – 7.30pm, to allow a chance for Santa to pick up any club gear he might need. We have club singlets, shorts, hoodies, rain jackets, T-shirts, leggings etc. for sale, all at cost price and also some second hand spikes at very reasonable prices. Our fabulous Club Calendar@ €10 and Club Pens @ €3 each or two for €5, will also be on sale andwill make great Xmas pressies!
