CONGRATULATIONS

Hot on their success at the European Cup in Portugal, we learnt this week that the junior girls team have again qualified for this competition in 2016 from their great results in the National Junior competition during the Track & Field season. We are absolutely delighted for them and so very, very proud of them. The girls are very excited and already planning fund-raising events towardsit.

WARM WEATHER TRAINING

Anyone who is interested in the proposed warm weather training trip next Easter, but has not handed back their 'show of interest form' needs to do so immediately. Open to all athletes U16 up in 2016, who regularly attend training & competition. Younger athletes may go if accompanied by an adult. Forms available at training, but need them back quickly. Places are limited.

CLUB SHOP

The club shop will be open on Tues 3rdNov. from 4.40-5pm & again from 6.30 – 7.30pm, before the next Leinster competition. We have club singlets, shorts, hoodies, rain jackets, T-shirts, leggings etc. for sale, all at cost price and also some second hand spikes at very reasonable prices. We also have club pensfor sale @ €3 each or two for €5, which are being used as a fund raiser for the away trip. They will make great stocking fillers! The committee are also looking into organising a club calendar, which will be available early in Dec and will make a great Xmas pressie, so hold off on buying any 2016 ones.

REGISTRATION FOR NEW ATHLETES

We have handed out registration forms to all our new athletes and while most have returned them, there are still a few outstanding. It is essential that these are returned asap, as we cannot have unregistered athletes at training sessions. If you have not done so already please return your form, as we do not want to have to refuse admittance to any child. Those already registered for 2015, do not need to register again.

WEBTEXT

We use webtext to communicate changes or send reminders, but I must remind you once again that if you have a query that requires an answer then you need to text Theresa on 0868635797, not the webtext number. While I am set up to receive the webtext msg. on my phone, I can only answer them from my laptop, so if I am at work or training, you may have a long wait for a reply.
