RETURN TO TRAINING

Hopefully you have all been following the plan outlined in the last Newsletterand you are now all ready to return to training “fit to train” and not totally out of condition, making training for the winter season a whole lot easier for all of us!

No changes to the information in the last newsletter, with the 7-8.30pm groups returning tomorrow Tues.1st Sept. and the 5-6pm & 6-7pm groups returning on Tues 8th Sept, allowing them a week to settle back in to school first. Looking forward to seeing you all back, full of enthusiasm for the coming season!

OUR EUROPEAN VENTURE

As you probably all know by now our Junior Girls, as part of the Slí Cualann Team, have been selected to represent Ireland in the European Club Cup in Portugal in Sept. This is as a result of their performances in 2014 and we are very proud indeed to accept this selection. More than half the team are Greystones athletes and we are still trying to raise the funds to cover this.

Thisis a fantastic opportunity for these young athletes to go out and experience International competition. They are very proud indeed to be representing their club & country and we have set up a Crowd Funding site at www.gofundme.com/europeanclubcupand all donations big & small will be greatly appreciated. Alternatively, donations can be handed in to Theresa at the track, at Shoreline Sports Park or to any of the coaches involved. We really need your help with this!
