REGISTRATIONS
Our 3rd and final registration night for new athletes is tonight Tues 1st Oct from 5-7pm. Registrations close sharply at 7pm due to coaching commitments at this time. We are sorry, but after this date athletes who are not registered must be removed from the check-in sheets and will not be allowed on to the track as the trial period is now over and they will not be covered by our insurance. Reg/Ins fee for the remainder of 2013 is €20 for first family member and €15 for additional members. Cash/cheques only please, as the club doesn't have a card facility.
Please do not hand registrations in to the Shoreline reception, as the staff cannot accept them on our behalf.

CLUB SHOP
The club shop will be open tonight Tues. 1st Oct. from 6-8pm. We have club singlets, shorts, t-shirts, rainjackets, hoodies etc. available. Athletes should have either a club singlet or T- shirt for competitions. All other items are optional. Bill Porter from Avondale Sports will also attend that night with a selection of runners & spikes and leggings.
PLEASE FOLLOW THE SIGNS AND ENTER BY THE BOTTOM DOOR FOR REG. AND/OR SHOP AND NOT THROUGH THE RECEPTION AREA!

PHOTOS FOR NEWSPAPER
As there was so much rain on the night we were trying to take the photos for the newspaper, they didn’t come out very well, so weather permitting we will try again tonight about 7pm. We would appreciate it if our 7-8.30pm athletes could check- in a few minutes early to facilitate this. We will gather on the top quadrant of the track  to take the photos and hopefully just take a few minutes to get them done.

CONGRATULATIONS
Well done to all the athletes who turnd out for the XC League last Fri night in Rathdrum. Club numbers were low, but there were some fine performances from those who attended and hopefully numbrs will grow for the rest of the series and for the Championships!.

COUNTY CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS
The first of the Wicklow XC Champs for 2013 takes place on this coming Sunday 6th Oct. beside Eden Gate. All registered athletes are eligible to take part and we hope to see a big, big turn out for this event, especially as it is so close by. All athletes up to U10 (age 5- 9 in 2013), who complete their race will receive a cert with their place. We will be trying to make up club team in the ages above this, so everyone is asked to make a big effort to run. Entry form can be found on our website, (just click forms on the top bar) and closing date is this Thurs. 3rd Oct.

Below are directions and info received today:. 
Directions to Wicklow Cross Country October 6th 2013. South and North bound cars take the Kilcoole/Greystones exit off the N11 for the R774. Go through the first roundabout.. About 200M BEFORE the next roundabout which is the Kilcoole Road roundabout take a LEFT onto PRIORY ROAD.  This will be signposted in advance.
Eden Gate is the housing estate 50M off the R774 this smaller roundabout is about 200M from the entrance to the cross country.  There will be parking in the field, however, access and egress will be subject to weather conditions on the day of the cross country championships. Persons concerned about access/egress may choose to park in this estate.
Novice Men and Ladies may wish park in local public parking areas and jog the 800M to the cross country.
Maps of the COURSE will be available at Co Board Meeting tomorrow evenings.
Please note  novice ladies race will start  at 11am followed the Novice men. 
Juvenile races commence at 12.00 with U6.
Admission is €2 per adult whether on foot or by car.
