URGENT REMINDER RE ENTRIES FOR  UPCOMING COMPETITIONS
 Leinster Junior/U23’s Sat 16th June in Navan ( entries close Wed 6th June ) U17-U23

 U13-19 Leinster Championships Sat 30th June & Sun 1st July in Tullamore. Entries needed by Tues 12th June as I will be away the following week. Please check www.athleticsleinster.org for programme of events. Up to 3 events for U13-16 and 4 events for U17-19.  No late entries!

 Inter County relays U13/15/17/19 will be held on Sat 30th June. If you wish to be considered for one of these teams please get names to Theresa right away as the County Board want to enter their selections on Monday

 Bray Runners Invitational in Greystones on Tues 19th June (all ages) Entries by Tues 12th please
Bray Runners need to limit the numbers taking part in this event, in order to get it finished on time. Each club will be allocated a limited number of places for this and so we will take entries from our club members on a first come first served basis. As I sent out the closing dates on our last newsletter we already have some places taken. You need to get your entries in immediately to be sure of a place.

National Junior/U23’s  Sun 24th June in Tullamore ( entries close Tues 12th  June ) U17-U23

We will hold a ‘Little Athletics’ event on Tues 26th June, from 5-6pm, the final training night before the summer break. Training will resume on the 1st Tues in Sept.

The 7-10 yr old groups  6-7pm Tues/Fri will finish on Fri 29th June and resume on the 1st Tues in Sept.
The older groups 7 - 8.30pm will continue throughout July as many will be in competition during this time!

Many of our members registration cards have not been collected. Please ask for these after training and we will give them to you. In the flurry of one group finishing and the other coming in, we keep forgetting to give them out. Those who joined recently will not be ready yet!  There are also a small number of medals still not collected. If you attended 3 or 4 of the XC League races     (evening ones, not Sundays) you are due a medal. Also a few still  not collected from County Award Scheme.

FIT4LIFE  LEAGUE
Round 5 was a 5K race in Wicklow tow last Thurs evening and our club was well represented by Jackie Patrick, Michelle Mooney, Maria Byrne, Nicola Creen, Carol Costello, Clare Ryan, AJ Cotter & Paul Byrne, with Jackie and Nicola finishing in the prizes. Well done to all!

CLUB SHORTS
We are delighted to announce that the long awaited club shorts for girls have arrived. We only have Xsmall and Med at present as the small are out of stock. These will retail at €19.

LUCOZADE SPORT CAPS
A big Thank You to the small number who have brought us bottle caps……….we need many, many more! Please drop them into the box at reception down at the track! Come on guys, start collecting, if we win, this money will be spent to make a better club for all of you!

GREYSTONES RUGBY CLUB
Greystones Rugby Club are holding a very special event in their grounds on Sat 30th June and they have kindly invited us along to this. They are hosting a Choir Festival “ Voices by the Sea” which will run from 12 midday till 9pm. There will be a number of excellent choires on stage throughout the day and it will also be a family fun day, with bouncy castles, etc etc. all day. As they need to allocate places to clubs attending, they need to know how many members will attend throughout the day asap. Please let us know if you wish to attend this great event!
