ST. PATRICK’S DAY PARADE
Names are still being taken from athletes intending to walk with the club in the parade this year. With over 200 registered members, Greystones AC is one of the largest athletic clubs in the
Country and we want to make sure everybody knows it! Let’s get everybody out there next Saturday and make a big impression! Please let coaches know immediately if you want to play your part
and support your club! We really need our older athletes to support this!
We will meet at the Shoreline (swimming pool) carpark at 11am to organise for the parade and younger athletes can be collected from the Health Centre carpark after the goodie bags have been
given out!
Please wear your Club Hoodie, Singlet, Tracksuit, Rainjacket or T-shirt for the parade, if you have one. If not, please come dressed in Red. If wearing a T-shirt or singlet, make sure you
have something warm on underneath!

Round 2 will be presented at training tonight! Don’t forget that you are building points for the club, as well as points for yourselves, towards the overall prizes!
OFFICIALS COURSE
All clubs have to supply a minimium of three officials o help at the county Championships in May and also at all other county events. Athletics Wicklow is aware that there are many people
willing to lend a hand, who hold back because they feel they don’t have the skills needed. To help rectify this situation, Athletics Wicklow have organised a short training course on officiating
at the various Track & Field events, as well as at XC and road races. None of this is very difficult and it can be quite enjoyable to get involved once you feel confident about what you are
doing. If more people have these skills and are willing to help out, we will run our events more efficiently and in far less time. The course will take place on Tues 27th March at 8.30pm,
after club training. Please let Theresa know if you wish to take part. Reember we must have at least three, but if we have a good number then we can do shifts instead of whole days!
