STAR AWARDS
Congratulations to club athletes Ara Freeman, Conor Dempsey, Claire Foley and Pippa Rogan, who will collect  Wicklow Star Awards on Fri night in the Parish hall in Roundwood at 8pm. Pippa also receives a Special Award for International selections during 2012. Fit4Life awards will be collected on the night by Greystones athletes Jamie Cullen, Jackie Patrick, Miriam Mahon, Orla Caffrey, Maria Byrne & Michelle Mooney. Please come  along and support our athletes.
SPORTSHALL COMPETITION
Well done to everyone who took part in our Sportshall competition on the 13th and a huge ‘Thank You’ to all the coaches and older athletes who helped make the event such a success. We apologise for the late finish, but are delighted to report that all the feedback has been excellent and all the children seem to have really enjoyed the event. LEINSTER XC
Congratulations to Jamie Cullen 9th, Padraig Lennon 17th, Dylan Grimes Larkin 30th who won bronze team medals as part of the Slí Cualann team at the Leinster Junior XC last Sunday. These were excellent performances from our athletes who were running against athletes up to 3 years older than them in this Junior category. Congratulations also to our relay teams Girls U14 Sinead O’Neill, Rosa Kirwan, Ali Dawson Whelan, Richael Browne and Boys U16 Cillian browne, Lorcan Lalor, Steven Diggin, Samuel Kerr who finished 4th in their events. Well done to both girls U12 teams, Aoife McTague, Eva Roche, Sophie Nicholson, Rachel Diggin & Aisling Lawrence, Grace Kirwan, Iona Roberts, Oriel Power who put in great performances on the day.
CLUB REGISTRATIONS
Thank you to everyone who helped out taking Registrations on Tues. and Wed. night and thanks to everyone who has paid to date. Don’t forget that this Friday from 6-7pm is the last night for paying your 2012 Registrations. Please ensure that your fees are paid as coaches will not be able to accept fees from juvenile athletes at the track. Athletes who were already registered in 2011 do not need to fill out any forms, unless you have a change of address or mob.You can just put your fees in an envelope with your name on it and drop them into the room behind reception on Fri. evening., Unfortunately, un-registered athletes cannot be allowed on to the track from next Tuesday, as they will no longer be covered by Insurance. This will have to be strictly enforced……..no exceptions!  Annual Fees remain at €30 for 1, €50 for 2, €70 for 3 and €90 for 4 or more family members!
UPCOMING COMPETITIONS
 National ‘B’ XC is on Sun 5th Feb.in Lough Key Co Roscommon  This event is open to all athletes born 1993 to 2001, who didn’t win a medal at National XC. Names to Theresa (0868635797) by Tues. 24th if you want to compete. No late entries. This is the last race at 2011 ages.
 National Senior Indoors in  the Odyssey, Belfast Sat/Sun 11th/12th Feb.
 Leinster Juvenile Indoors U12-U19, Nenagh Sat/Sun 18th/19th Feb 2012. Athletes may enter 3 events maximum over the 2 days. If you want to take part in this event, please fill in and return the form below by Fri 27th Feb. latest.
