RECENT COMPETITIONS

Congratulations to everyone who took part in the Wicklow County Championships and well done to everyone on the fantastic results. We will post these results as soon as we get them. A HUGE ‘Thank You’ toall who helped out over the weekend!

Well done also on the Leinster relays last Sun. A great turn out from the club and great performances. Congratulations to Boys U14 Conor Dempsey, Luke Donoghue, Scott Howard, Jamie Fallon who won gold,girls U13 Alison Dawson Whelan, Sinead O'Neill, Hilary Gallagher, Richael Browne who won silver, girlsU 17 Claire Foley, Amy Howard, Aisling McCabe, Naomi ...Ekada who won bronze in the 4x100m andClaire Foley, Claire Fox, Deanna Kissane, Amy Howard who won silver in the 4x300m. Good luck at the Nationals!

Congrats also to our athletes who did so well in the Leinster schools recently. Ellie Hartnett 1st 3K, NiamhKearney 2nd 800m & 1500m, Caoimhe Basquille 2nd 100mH & HJ, Laura Boylan 2nd 400mH, FerdiaKenny 2nd 200m and Claire Foley 1st 100m & 200m! Top performances as always! Good Luck to everyonein the All Irelands!

UP-COMING COMPETITIONS

Please note the closing dates for entries, as no late entries are being taken this year by Leinster, if you do not get entry into club on time you will not be taking part. 

• Best of Luck to the small number of athletes competing this weekend at the Leinster U9-U12’s in Navanon Sat and the Junior/U23’s in Kikkenny on Sun.
• Leinster Seniors/Masters is in Tullamore on June 5th and we need names and events right away please.
• The Bray Invitational event will be held on Tues 14th June in Greystones and once again we have beeninvited to take part. Names for this one by Fri 10th June, please.
• Next event is the Leinster Team competition for U9-U15’s on Sat. Jun 11th in St Abban’s Monavea. Alovely relaxed competition with teams of 4 athletes doing two events each plus a relay. Names to Theresaby June 1st latest for this one.
• Leinster U13-U19’s is the following weekend Jun 18th/19th in Tullamore. U13-16’s can do 3 events andU17-19’s 4 events. Names and choice of events to Theresa by June 1st also please.
• National Juniors/U23’s are Sun. 26th Jun and we will need names for this by June 9th, please.(Junior isU17-U20)

CLUB SHOP

The club shop will be open on Tues 7th June, from 7 – 8.30pm, in the room behind the reception area at thetrack. We have singlets, shorts, t-shirts, hoodies, jackets, tracksuit bottoms and rain gear in most sizes.

REGISTRATION CARDS

Many of our athletes still haven’t collected their registration cards at training. This card entitles the holderto a 10% discount on purchases at Woodie’s, so do ask for your card if you haven’t received it yet. You willneed to keep this card safely as it may be required during the year. If you only paid your registration veryrecently, your card may not have arrived yet, as it takes a while for them to arrive.
