Well done to all the athletes who took part in the training trip last
weekend. Glendalough in the sunshine was a marvellous venue and all the athletes worked really hard. A few of our sprinters even took to
distance running on Sunday morning, but it might be that they didn’t
hear the directions because their ears were still ringing from the
Karaoke the night before!!!
Overall it was an excellent weekend, with a variety of training
sessions and informative talks. A lot of hard work was put in and a good
time was had by all. Photos to follow.
Reports from the attendance day trip on Saturday, are that everyone had a really enjoyable day and they can’t wait to do it again at
Christmas. Keep those attendance levels up and make sure you get to go on the next trip. Many thanks to Dee, Alison, Laura, Aidan and Paul for looking after the group so well and ensuring that
everyone had a good day. Don’t forget that you can earn extra attendance points by going to competitions.

Very Important Notice
From this Friday 18th Sept. all groups will have their Friday training
sessions in the Community Hall at Shoreline Leisure Centre. Please
attend at your usual time and please try to be on time. A number of
athletes are arriving late for training and this is delaying our
sessions, or athletes are missing out on the warm-up, which is a very
important part of their session. To reap the full benefit of our
training and excellent facilities, we need to get started on time and
complete the full session.
Please note that we will not have the hall on Fri. 1st Oct. We will be
on the track on that night. All Tues. and Wed. sessions are on the
track.
We are delighted at the increase in numbers attending on Wed. evenings. Keep it up!!!
All athletes in the 7-8.30pm groups are eligible to attend the Wed.
sessions.
We would remind you once again that regular information will be
available on www.greystonesac.com If you cannot access this and need a paper note, please let us know, as we will not be issuing weekly notes on paper
after this one, unless requested.
